Blondie is a registered Tennessee Walking Horse mare with a calm, affectionate disposition and nice gaits. She is a wonderful trail horse who is equally content to lead, follow, or be in the middle. She has never offered to buck, bite, rear, or kick. Blondie is well-behaved with good ground manners, and stands quietly for the farrier, vet, or dentist. She bathes, clips, vacuums, cross ties, loads and trailers quietly. She is the lead mare in the paddock, but shows no bossiness on the trail. The photos below show her in her winter coat; the rest of the year she is a sleek and much lighter strawberry roan with a flax mane and tail. Blondie is out of Boss Man's Orphan by Generator's My Papa and her bloodline includes World Grand Champions Midnight Sun, Mack K's Handshaker, and Merry Go Boy.
Blondie is the perfect horse for an advanced beginner to intermediate (or above) rider looking for a solid, affectionate, trustworthy trail horse. Perfect for pleasure riding, with further training she could be a fine competitive trail riding prospect. We do not wish to sell her for show purposes.
Blondie's health is excellent. She is up to date on all of her shots and worming, and has a current negative Coggins test.
Blondie has been at New Avalon for about six months now and has all the benefits of frequent training and riding by Kate. For the asking price she comes with a dressage saddle that has been professionally adjusted to fit her perfectly.
